Wasteful spending rewards people for being inefficient, which means that they are not helping society (as much as they could). Basically, parasites that take, but don’t give back. This is the ultimate evil (in the sense of perversion of truth and destruction of life). A parasite ends up killing its host — destroying the source of its life! This is what corrupt and inefficient government does to a society. The corrupt leaders get a free ride on everyone’s backs until everything comes tumbling down.
